I think about a lot of things on my way to work in the mornings, I find that the drive goes faster if I get into some deep thought. Lately it’s been wedding things, programs, shoes, invites, decorations, etc. But this morning I took along some CDs my sister made me when Ky and I first got engaged. The CD is full of love songs we could play at the wedding, and as I was listening to the song Ky and I picked for our first song, I found myself welled up in tears. I can’t believe that in less than 3 months I am going to have a husband. This man I have known for so long, the one I tell all my secrets to is going to be my husband. As I drove listening to the words and how special this bond that we are about to partake in is, I could barely control my emotions. I can’t begin to express in words how lucky I am to have such a great person in my life. Kyle and I have such a great relationship and we know marriage is a big step for us, and a step we are ready to make, but the thought of him introducing me as his wife gives me the goose bumps. I don’t know where I would be without him in my life, and today I think I got a taste of how special our marriage is going to be, because without my best friend by my side I don’t know where my life will go. Kyle makes me feel so grounded and balanced. Our lives together will definitely be something special, and we can’t wait to have everyone there as we begin them together!
I know that was pretty deep, but the way I am feeling right now I had to share. On a lighter note I got my grades back from Summer Semester. I don’t know if any of you know but this was a very, very busy summer for me. I had a 20 per week internship; I worked 15-20 hours a week at my part-time job, took 4 classes, and managed to get a lot done in the world of wedding planning. With that said I am very proud to say I passed with flying colors!!! All A’s for my very first time in college!!!! Yes in high school this would have been no big deal, but for college this is huge, especially with the load of stress I have been under! Now I have to buckle down and get ready for fall semester. I am staying 2 weeks ahead of things this semester so I can have the week of the wedding off and the 10 days of our honeymoon off, so this will be a challenging semester for me as well, but I’m sure I will do just fine! I should be updating on my bridal showers soon! We took lots of pictures :)
